Nursing Assistant Radiology

The medical imaging department of a healthcare organization offers various advanced radiology techniques, while maintaining the human dimension. The multidisciplinary team consists of dynamic, versatile technologists, nursing assistants, and logistics assistants coordinated by specialized radiologists. An enthusiastic and motivated nursing assistant is sought for the Radiology department.
What you will do.
- You support the technologists in providing integral care to the different patient groups within the department
- You provide care to a patient under the supervision of a technologist
- You arrange for the transport and guidance of patients who do not require specific observation
- You communicate observations regarding the patient verbally and in writing to the supervisor or department head
- You perform household tasks in the department and carry out delegated administrative tasks
- You demonstrate involvement and a development-oriented approach, addressing care and its context as professionally as possible
- You enjoy collaborating with patients, family members, and colleagues, as well as with informal caregivers and volunteers
What they ask
- Diploma and definitive registration (FPS) as a Nursing Assistant
- Certificate '5 additional nursing acts for nursing assistants'
- Experience as a nursing assistant in a hospital environment is a plus
- Very flexible and easily adaptable
- Always works in a safe, orderly, and hygienic manner, and actively contributes to health prevention, information, and education for patients
- Always takes responsibility
- Communicates fluently, both with the patient and their relatives, and with other healthcare providers
- Is collegial and works well in a team
- Through your empathy, the patient always feels understood, contributing to patient satisfaction
- Bilingualism Dutch/French or willingness to learn the language. Knowledge of other languages is a plus
- Openness to issues related to cultural diversity in a hospital environment
Practical
- Full-time replacement contract
- Remuneration according to IFIC scale CAT 11 with recognition of relevant seniority
