This temporary assignment is within a close-knit, multidisciplinary team that is daily committed to vulnerable seniors.
- An enthusiastic nurse is sought for a geriatric department within a healthcare institution.
- You will work in a calm, warm, and respectful environment where both acute care and rehabilitation are central.
- In this role, you will collaborate closely with doctors, therapists, psychologists, and care assistants to support older patients with their medical, functional, and emotional needs.
What you do
- Performing technical nursing procedures tailored to geriatric patients.
- Monitoring and adjusting the individual care plan.
- Continuous evaluation and monitoring of the health status.
- Guiding patients through their recovery and rehabilitation process.
- Providing support and clear communication to family and informal caregivers.
- Actively contributing to a safe, respectful, and positive care environment.
What they ask
- Bachelor's degree or graduated nurse diploma.
- Experience or strong affinity with geriatrics (experience with orthopedics is a plus).
- Available at short notice.
- Minimum 80% availability.
- You can work independently and function excellently within a multidisciplinary team.
- You possess strong communication skills, empathy, and a warm heart for care.
- Very good command of Dutch.
