Policy Advisor Integration

• Closely follow national developments in the field of integration and proactively translate them into concrete local actions that meet needs
• Act as a strong discussion partner for the board, formulating, presenting, and defending policy advice
• Prepare clear and convincing policy reports and notes, with an eye for the political-administrative context
• Accurately monitor and adjust the progress of integration policy where necessary, with a focus on continuous improvement and efficiency
• Ensure financial management of the integration budget, including preparing and controlling budgets and accountability
• Ensure the reception and integration of newcomers, playing a central role in creating an effective and inclusive trajectory
• Ensure a solid foundation for integration policy, based on monitoring, evaluation, and financial management
• Fulfill the role of Policy Officer Integration and thus be the linchpin in social guidance and integration
• Respect the organizational frameworks of the client and carefully perform duties within them

What they ask

• Demonstrably completed education at a minimum of HBO-bachelor level
• Demonstrable work experience in the role of integration policy advisor
• Demonstrable work experience with the Integration Act (Wet Inburgering) legislation

Preferences.

• Minimum 5 years of demonstrable work experience as a policy advisor within a municipal organization
