You will work in and on an environment where living, working, and life come together for people with visual and intellectual disabilities. A well-designed and safe living environment is essential for this target group. You are responsible for realizing various projects within the real estate portfolio of a care organization, where the continuity of the primary care process always takes precedence.
You lead sustainability, new construction, renovation, and conversion projects and ensure that objectives in the field of sustainability, circulation, energy, and legislation are demonstrably achieved. You also take on other types of housing and improvement projects, such as the renovation of a head office, thereby directly contributing to the quality of the living and working environment.
You are part of the Development & Projects team and work closely with technical advisors, housing ergonomics advisors, and external parties.
What you will do.
- Lead housing projects from initiation to completion and manage project teams and external parties (contractors, architects, consultants).
- Monitor planning, budget, quality, and risks and adjust in a timely manner where necessary.
- Prepare project plans, budgets, and schedules and conduct feasibility and risk analyses.
- Translate organizational goals and user wishes into concrete, actionable projects and provide input for subsidy applications and decision-making.
- Guide renovation, maintenance, and sustainability projects, monitor compliance with laws and regulations (e.g., building decree) and ensure everything seamlessly connects to the care environment with minimal disruption.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders (care, facility, real estate), maintain contacts with external parties and partners, and ensure support and alignment of interests.
- Translate project results into improvements (PDCA) in policy and implementation, advise management and program manager on choices and progress.
- Play an active role within a sustainability program and translate sustainability objectives into actionable projects and measures within Housing.

- Completed HBO (higher professional education) degree in Civil Engineering, Real Estate, or similar.
- Extensive experience with project management in construction, real estate, technical management, and preferably also experience in the healthcare sector.
- Knowledge of relevant construction and real estate laws and regulations.
- Knowledge of sustainability and innovative developments in the construction sector.
- A proactive and connecting attitude; you effortlessly switch between policy and practice.
