Assistant Store Manager

• Responsible for one of two specializations: Process & Goods Processing or Customer & Commerce.
• For Process & Goods Processing: lead this department and ensure well-organized processes for a stocked, clean store.
• For Customer & Commerce: focus on the commercial plan, ensure the store meets customer needs, and lead colleagues in the fresh produce and checkout departments.
• Work with the team to achieve goals and celebrate successes.
• Be a decisive, results-oriented, people-focused, and inspiring leader.
• Encourage colleagues and give them freedom to think independently about their department and the store.
• Develop team members and foster collaboration.
• Ensure the branch meets set targets (revenue, shrinkage, customer and employee satisfaction).
• Empower colleagues and utilize their talents.
• Be entrepreneurial, identify opportunities and act on them (e.g., local products, neighborhood initiatives).
• Provide operational support to the team.
• Responsible for optimal team staffing, development talks, and recruitment of new colleagues.
