As an organizational consultant for Integrated Capacity Management, you support the management of an academic medical center in decisions regarding capacity issues. You form a connecting link between management, care departments, business operations, and data. With your advice, you help departments collaborate and utilize capacity as effectively as possible. You contribute ideas on issues such as operating room session scheduling, bed utilization, or business cases.
You identify trends in the data and translate them into clear advice, taking into account various interests. You also coach colleagues and share your knowledge and experience.
What you do
- Advise, both proactively and on request, thematic directors, department heads, managers, and project teams.
- Monitor waiting lists and occupancy, identify bottlenecks, and advise on possible solutions.
- Shape projects focused on capacity management within the organization.
- Develop and interpret management information in the form of reports.
- Prepare capacity meetings and present analyses and advice.
Profile
For this vacancy, we are looking for an organizational consultant for Integrated Capacity Management who is strong in analyzing data and work processes, recognizes opportunities for improvement, and can convey insights convincingly.
- You have a university-level background (education or work experience), for example in Supply Chain Management, (Technical) Business Administration, Econometrics, or Health Policy Management.
- You have an affinity for data analysis.
- You have experience with capacity management and/or complex logistical processes, preferably in a hospital.
- You can effectively manage multiple stakeholders and connect various interested parties to activate willingness to change.
- You work accurately, possess organizational sensitivity, and have strong communication skills, including excellent command of the Dutch language.
