Sociotherapeutic worker
As a sociotherapeutic worker, you make a difference for people in particularly vulnerable situations. You help patients struggling with enormous challenges, such as clients with complex issues or asylum seekers. You are their first point of contact, offering structure, safety, and a listening ear. No day is the same; you are ready for all patients in your department and are the personal supervisor for one or two individuals. You can choose to work in an intensive care unit, a crisis department, or a department where patients prepare for their next step towards a follow-up facility. The diversity of stories and backgrounds makes your work constantly challenging and impressive within a specialized care institution.
