For this temporary assignment, a youth protection organization is looking for an experienced youth protector with extensive experience within the coercive framework. You will work within a specialized intake team. A child who needs help to grow up safely is never alone. As a youth protector, you always choose for the child: for safety in the family and cooperation with the people in and around the home situation.
Within the monitoring team of the intake team, you maintain an overview, monitor progress, and ensure that new child protection order (OTS) cases get off to a good start. You work independently, switch quickly, and know what is needed to create movement in complex situations.
What you do
As a Youth Protector MIT, you are responsible for monitoring and initiating new youth protection measures. You manage the initial phase of a measure and ensure that necessary actions are taken in a timely manner. Your tasks include:
- conducting initial interviews with clients
- analyzing council reports
- drawing up action plans
- maintaining contact with clients and involved network partners
- implementing and coordinating appropriate assistance
- identifying risks, bottlenecks
- managing complex cases
- ensuring a safe and swift start to new OTS cases
You do this in collaboration with colleagues, behavioral scientists, and other involved professionals.
What they ask For this assignment, we are exclusively looking for professionals with extensive and recent experience as a youth protector within the coercive framework. You possess:
- a relevant HBO diploma (Social Work, SPH, MWD, Pedagogy, or similar)
- a valid SKJ registration
- several years of demonstrable work experience as a youth protector
- extensive experience with OTS, guardianship, and/or juvenile reclassering
- knowledge of relevant laws and regulations
- a driving license and access to personal transport
Practical
- An up-to-date Certificate of Conduct (VOG) is required
- A check for conflicting interests may be part of the procedure
