A healthcare organization manages one of the largest healthcare real estate portfolios in the Netherlands, with approximately 1,400 locations.
- From the Real Estate department, about 50 professionals work on managing, developing, and making sustainable housing, day activity locations, and other care facilities.
- Together, we create future-proof environments that contribute to the organization's promises.

What you will do.
- Responsible for developing, improving, and future-proofing the real estate portfolio within your region.
- Be part of an integrated real estate team, consisting of project leaders and a manager.
- Inventory and analyze housing issues and translate them into concrete real estate scenarios and development proposals.
- Projects to be undertaken include: drafting a master plan, developing a health center, and renovating various existing buildings.
- Draw up a new Regional Real Estate Plan, monitor its implementation, and advise regional and care management on suitable housing solutions.
- Identify developments in the healthcare and real estate market and translate them into policy proposals, portfolio development, and new real estate concepts.
- Guide real estate and housing projects from initiation to preliminary design, together with the project leader and manager.
- Prepare project proposals, business cases, budgets, schedules, and phase documents, ensuring careful decision-making.
- Actively contribute to management reports and advise on opportunities, risks, and bottlenecks within the real estate portfolio.
- Develop and maintain a relevant network of municipalities, care offices, housing corporations, architects, project developers, and consultants.
- Represent the organization in various collaborations and contribute to the further professionalization of the field within the Real Estate team.
Profile
- HBO or university level in real estate, construction, urban planning, business administration, or a similar field.
- Experience with real estate development, housing issues, or project development within a complex organizational environment.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to translate complex issues into concrete real estate solutions.
- Able to switch between strategic, tactical, and operational issues.
- A strong discussion partner for management, healthcare professionals, and external stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and advisory skills.
- Able to connect interests and build support within diverse collaborations.
- Actively follow developments in real estate, healthcare, and legislation and translate them into opportunities for the organization.
- Possess a B driving license and own transport.
