As a working manager of the Purchasing & Facility Staff Office (approximately 7 FTE), you will be part of the Purchasing & Facility management team of a healthcare organization. You report directly to the director. You identify opportunities, contribute critically and constructively with other MT members, and encourage the effective use of new and existing technologies.
What you will do.
- Leadership: Ensure an effective and efficient organizational structure, work processes, division of tasks, and further development of the staff office. Promote effective consultation and achieve collaboration and engagement.
- Strategy and advice: Advise on the Purchasing & Facility strategy, derived from the organization's strategy. Translate strategic goals into policy and operational management. Stimulate and support innovative developments, the realization of new policies, and the improvement of efficiency and effectiveness of the Purchasing & Facility sectors.
- Innovation and digital development: Be a strategic driver of innovation and digital development within Purchasing & Facility. Understand developments, identify opportunities, and translate them into the organization. Stimulate a culture where new technologies and working methods are actively explored and applied.
- Projects: Independently lead projects of a multidisciplinary and strategic nature, with an impact on operational management and exploitation and/or projects that are growing into a program. Ensure project management tools and training for the team. Organize consultations with the team to discuss the status of ongoing projects.
- Contract management: Monitor, together with the relevant sectors, the performance of suppliers and provide advice on adjustments. Support the staff advisor in standardizing and professionalizing contract management within the Purchasing & Facility sectors.
