IAM MFA Project Engineer

North HollandHybrid40 hours/week3-6months

The next step in multi-factor authentication within an environment where tens of thousands of students and employees log in daily. MFA is already largely configured and operational. The next phase involves further rollout and optimization of MFA based on a revised MFA policy and a new IAM/MFA target architecture.

You will independently analyze the current setup, identify where adjustments are needed, and translate the frameworks from the domain architects and IAM architect into concrete technical solutions and migration steps. You will then implement the changes yourself. This is explicitly a change assignment, not a management role.

What you do

  • Mapping where MFA is still missing in the application landscape and what adjustments are needed.
  • Testing architecture designs for technical feasibility, acting as a sparring partner for domain and IAM architects.
  • Translating the MFA policy and Conditional Access Policies into a suitable technical configuration.
  • Identifying deviations from the target architecture and implementing the necessary adjustments.
  • Independently preparing Low Level Designs and migration documentation.
  • Realizing technical changes and guiding the migration to new standards.
  • Performing technical end-to-end tests.
  • Documenting the realized configuration and arranging the transfer to the management organization.
