An organization develops software for public institutions and healthcare organizations. Clients demand high standards for security and privacy. Security is a core component of the service. A successor is sought for the current Security & Privacy Officer. The foundation of certifications and processes is in place; the role involves maintaining and improving existing structures.
What you do
- Own the ISMS and be responsible for ISO 27001, NEN 7510, and compliance with BIO.
- Answer security and privacy questions in tenders and client audits, and advise clients.
- Monitor GDPR compliance: DPIAs, processing register, data processing agreements, and data breach process. Take lead in incidents.
- Collaborate with development teams on security in the development process: pentests, vulnerability management, and security requirements.
- Stay sharp on upcoming regulations like NIS2, the AI Act, and new municipal frameworks.
- Ensure colleagues understand and take security seriously.
Who you are.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in information security and/or privacy, with prior ownership of a standard or program.
- In-depth knowledge of ISO 27001 and practical experience with GDPR.
- Able to engage in technical discussions with developers and infrastructure specialists; familiar with Cloud, CI/CD, and APIs.
- Able to write clearly in Dutch and convince with substantiation rather than jargon.
- Experience with government or healthcare (BIO, NEN 7510, GIBIT) is a strong plus.
- Down-to-earth, independent, meticulous, pragmatic, and decisive.
