A leading international organization is delivering a significant €200m+ CAPEX investment program across industrial infrastructure, engineering, and sustainability projects. As part of this transformation program, an experienced CAPEX Procurement Manager is sought to lead strategic sourcing, commercial negotiations, and contract delivery across a portfolio of high-value projects.
This is an excellent opportunity for a procurement professional with a proven track record in CAPEX procurement, contractor management, and complex stakeholder environments within industrial, manufacturing, energy, chemicals, or infrastructure sectors.
What you do
- Lead end-to-end procurement activities across a €200m+ CAPEX program
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies for engineering services, construction works, industrial equipment, and technical packages
- Manage complex tender processes from market engagement through to contract award
- Lead commercial negotiations with suppliers, contractors, and EPC partners
- Draft, negotiate, and manage construction, service, and framework agreements
- Support project teams with cost optimization, value engineering, and risk mitigation initiatives
- Partner closely with Engineering, Operations, Finance, Legal, and Project stakeholders
- Ensure procurement governance, compliance, and best practice throughout the project lifecycle
- Drive supplier performance, contract management, and commercial value delivery
- Identify opportunities to improve procurement processes and project outcomes
What they ask
- 10+ years' procurement experience within industrial, manufacturing, chemicals, energy, utilities, infrastructure, or engineering environments
- Proven experience leading procurement activities across major CAPEX programs valued at €200m+
- Strong track record sourcing engineering services, construction packages, industrial equipment, and technical solutions
- Extensive experience negotiating complex commercial agreements and managing supplier relationships
- Strong understanding of contract administration, commercial risk management, and project procurement
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence both technical and executive-level stakeholders
- Experience operating within fast-paced project and transformation environments
- Fluent Dutch & English; French would be highly advantageous
