Midwife

Prenatally, you monitor pregnancies and guide parents up to childbirth, in collaboration with doctors, gynecologists, and other professionals.

• You provide prenatal workshops to prepare expectant parents for childbirth and the postpartum period.
• Postnatally, you continue to follow up with mother and baby at home, both medically and psychosocially.
• You answer questions, provide advice, and practical tips.
• You work in an on-call system, where you are on call one weekend out of five in rotation with colleagues (mainly by phone, exceptionally physically).
• Within the maternity care team, you provide training and support to our caregivers.
• You are responsible for the intake and processing of maternity care files.
• You participate in internal and external consultation and training moments.

What they ask

• You hold a professional bachelor's or master's degree in Midwifery.
• Home-based prenatal and postnatal care is close to your heart.
• You are strong in administration and proficient with various IT applications (MS Office).
• You speak and write correct Dutch, have a good command of French, and a basic knowledge of English.
• Easy interaction with different people and building a network is not a problem for you.
• You are in possession of a valid B driving license.
