Ensure the stability and performance of production services while providing an architectural and technical leadership function fully aligned with the environment. You will define the cloud-native vision, implement IaC governance, drive the transition to a resilient, observable, and automated production landscape, and contribute to the upskilling of the production team.
What you do
Operational architecture.
- Lead technical reviews of new solutions and challenge architectural choices from an operational/maintainability perspective.
- Define the cloud-native architecture vision (microservices, event-driven) and establish exploitability standards.
- Implement IaC governance (Terraform/Helm PR reviews, security policies).
Technical leadership.
- Be the technical reference in the domain; support teams on complex trade-offs.
- Align technical decisions with Product Owners to balance business needs and technical constraints.
- Build a continuous training roadmap (IBM Cloud, OpenShift, Terraform, Ansible, Python certifications).
- Set up Communities of Practice (IaC, Cloud-Native, AI/ML-Ops) and monitor their progress.
Transformation & modernization.
- Contribute to the Cloud/DevOps/SRE roadmap; prioritize technical debt.
- Identify automation opportunities (CI/CD pipelines, Python scripts, Ansible, Argo CD).
- Drive containerization initiatives (Kubernetes/OpenShift) and "as-code" projects.
- Identify high-impact AI use cases in production (predictive anomaly detection, capacity forecasting, automated root cause diagnosis) and prototype some.
Observability & exploitability.
- Define minimum monitoring requirements (Dynatrace, Sysdig, cloud logs).
- Develop observability practices (tracing, metrics, logging) and ensure new services comply with supervision standards.
